The above picture was from the advertising / press release of the R1200c Troika and along with others used in various magazines at the time. But what got me reminiscing, was a picture popped up on the net, and on facebook of a (S)R1200c Troika which prompted me that in Outlook an article appeared by JRH on this very Outfit. So I delved into the PDF archive I produced for the Federation of Sidecar Clubs and I found it in the 1998 October edition where you will see a picture of the Outfit on the cover of that edition.
The above picture appears in quite a lot of places on the internet, to me it looks like the Outfit is hardly used as it looks like new.
I believe production just managed double figures, so they are quite rare, below is the article pages from the 1998 Outlook. If you would like to join the Federation of Sidecar Clubs here is a link to the membership page; https://www.sidecars.org.uk/membership.html

Now, look at the price, £22000 in 1998…..Finally, I have also added this website to the Other Sites of Interest page (link below) and well worth a look. Note, it may / will open in German, but simply click on the 3 dots at the top right of the page (if using Google) and translate to English. You will find the Troika Outfit, but a load more sidecars that have been fitted to the BMW R1200C.
