I can only start with “Wow” what a turnout. 57 units booked in plus one that booked direct with the site (next year book in at the marque and save money) plus 5 day visitors, total of 63.
The selection of sidecars this year was across the range so to speak as you will see from the pictures. We can start here with two awards;
Steve won the award for smallest cc outfit.
Sean won best outfit ( best camp set up) I think the ferret influenced the vote.
Keith, BMW sidecar register secretary won long distance.

Lots of queues at Banwell, lots of pushing along in the queue. Well, it was a hot weekend and old BSA’s like to keep moving to keep cool.

I did my best, but I think I may have missed a few. So on to the awards.
Treasure hunt. A popular event with a good many taking part. It was down to the tie-break question between The Aldridges and The Tanners. The Tanners won as you can see.
The Friday pub quiz, runners up were the “Cheat’in Teachers”. Winners Bella’s Bumper Bundle”
So on to the famous Sidecar Soiree Grand Prix.
It was the children up first to show the adults how it is done.
I don’t normal start on the whiskey until the adults take part, but this year they drove me to drink one.
With the help of grandma, Rachel won. (Rachel the Toblerone tastes better 🙂 )
So on to the adults.

I apparently at this time in the proceedings began to spill more than that was going in the tot cups, so had to call on someone to pour the shots.
For this race, I needed a double shot.
I get a go, don’t care if I win at this stage.
It’s the final, so I photo bombed.
